Entry requirements
Meeting the following basic criteria is obligatory for all applicants:
The candidate:
- must hold a previous education certificate giving him/her a right to apply for admission to a selected cycle of higher education:
- upper secondary school leaving certificate giving its holder a right to apply for admission to 1st cycle (undergraduate) higher education programmes in the country in which he or she completed secondary school or which may give the holder such right in Poland on the basis of an administrative decision or an international agreement;
- a 1st cycle (undergraduate) diploma granting access to 2nd cycle (graduate) higher education programmes in the country in which its holder completed his/her education;
- must submit all necessary application documents (the list of them is available on this webpage: www.marine-edu.com/generator), including:
- a document confirming the fluency in English at B2 level (for programmes delivered in English) or a document confirming the fluency in Polish at B1 level (for programmes delivered in Polish);
- in case of candidates applying to sea-going degree programmes, a Medical Certificate for Service at Sea/ Medical Fitness Certificate for Seafarers compliant with STCW and MLC 2006;
- must pay the admission fee (PLN 85)
Legal basis for admissions of international candidates: MUS Rector’s Order No 6/2024 on detailed conditions, procedure and date of commencement and termination of international admissions in the academic year 2023/2024 (document in Polish language).
